CHANGE YOUR POSITION

So yesterday, I went to the ATM and it was a long queue, the situation which is common in many parts of the nation, but this time it was even more appalling as we all had to queue to use one machine amongst four machines. Well, as we were waiting a young man just came by, walked past all of us on the queue, about to rebuke him we noticed he was going to one of the other three machines and not the one we had queued on. At this point I felt he was to do a transfer or something, I really didn't bother though, since I was sure he wasn't forcing himself in my front. Well, the reality was to our surprise we saw him cash money, then he looked at us and said "Why the queue? This is paying too". Chai! At this point we felt sorry for the time we had wasted queuing up, so of cos we split the line into two. Then somehow, someone felt to try the other machines and eventually we found that all four machines were dispensing cash. It felt so stupid that we never tried any of these machines all the while, we just came in and since we met people queuing, we concluded they weren't waiting for nothing so we assumed that the others weren't paying. Wait! Before you laugh at me, think of how many times you too have joined queues, stayed in positions, accepted status quo because other people (most often people before you) accepted the status quo as a standard. Think of how many things you say and do things because other people sold those practices to you. Thus, I conclude that this not just the case with ATM's it is the case with life. We often accept the status quo without questioning it and then the status quo becomes our status, we conform rather than reform. We must learn that their is no harm in trying things and getting a confirmation by ourselves. Break the inertia and try. The truth is that sometimes the challenge is not that things don't try, it's that we don't try things. Do not base ur judgement on hearsay
